AYUMU CONNECTについて
私はこれまで、日本で働く多くの外国人と関わる中で、一つの共通した課題を感じてきました。
それは、「日本語を勉強しているのに、日本語で話せない」という現実です。
JLPTに合格していても、職場では思うように会話ができず、指示が理解できない、電話対応に自信がない、日本人とのコミュニケーションに悩んでいる方が数多くいます。
一方で企業側も、「日本語能力試験に合格しているから採用したのに、実際の現場ではコミュニケーションが難しい」という課題を抱えています。
つまり、日本には知識としての日本語を評価する仕組みはあっても、実際に仕事や日常生活で使える日本語を評価し、育てる仕組みが十分ではないと感じました。
この課題を解決したいという想いから、AYUMU CONNECTを立ち上げました。
AYUMU CONNECTは、日本語を学ぶだけの場所ではありません。
「日本語で話せるようになること」、そして「日本で自信を持って働き、生活できること」を目的とした実践型サービスです。
さらに、私たちは独自の日本語実践力評価システム「AJS（Ayumu Connect Japanese Skill Score）」を開発し、一人ひとりの強みや課題を可視化し、最適な学習方法を提案しています。
私たちが目指しているのは、日本語教育だけではありません。
将来的には、日本語学習、仕事探し、企業とのマッチング、住まい探し、そして日本での生活支援まで、外国人が安心して日本で暮らし、夢を叶えられる環境をワンストップで提供するプラットフォームを創りたいと考えています。

About AYUMU CONNECT
Through my experience working with many foreign professionals in Japan, I noticed one common challenge.
Many people study Japanese for years, yet still struggle to communicate confidently in real-life situations.
Even those who have passed the JLPT often find it difficult to communicate effectively in the workplace. They may struggle to understand instructions, lack confidence when answering phone calls, or experience challenges in communicating with their Japanese colleagues.
Companies face the same issue from a different perspective. Many employers hire candidates based on their JLPT qualifications, only to discover that they are not yet able to communicate effectively in day-to-day work.
This highlighted an important gap in Japan's language education system. While there are well-established methods for evaluating Japanese language knowledge, there has been no comprehensive way to assess and develop the practical communication skills required for work and everyday life.
With a desire to bridge this gap, I founded AYUMU CONNECT.
AYUMU CONNECT is more than just a Japanese language school. It is a practical learning platform designed to help people communicate confidently in Japanese and build successful lives and careers in Japan.
To support this mission, we developed our proprietary assessment system, AJS (AYUMU CONNECT Japanese Skill Score). AJS evaluates practical Japanese communication skills, identifies each learner's strengths and areas for improvement, and provides personalized learning recommendations based on objective data.
Our vision extends far beyond language education.
In the future, we aim to build a comprehensive platform that supports every stage of life for foreign residents in Japan—from Japanese language learning and career development to job matching, housing assistance, and everyday living support.
